Across Canada and The United States

For the past year I have been traveling from place to place across North America talking with people: asking them what gift they would like to give or be given at the time of millennium: asking people what they are doing to bring this gift into being: asking people how they would like to celebrate the Millennium Eve. I tell people about the Millennium Eve Vigil and ask them if they'd like to be a part of it. I tell them the Millennium Fable about how the future could be. I remind people that it is not too late to create a new world. I share with people my own inner pilgrimage with all its doubts and difficulties,and invite them to take their own journey so that we can all meet together on that final New Year's Eve of the second millennium to share the riches of our lives. Starting in Ithaca ~that namesake from which Ulysses in his later years gathered together his noble band of sojourners and lead them forth with these simple words "Come it is not too late to seek a newer world." ~ I traveled into Northampton meeting with the next generation eager to enter the fray.
I plan to travel to every other place in North America, to talk with everyone who is interested. Look for me on the highway, at the mall, on the corner, or walking up the street where you live. Or you might see me talking to a group of people outside my Pilgrimobile. Current Itinerary: 1999 (October and November) Where ever the spirit takes me, ending up in the capitial city of Canada, Ottawa. Summer Itinerary: 1999 (July 28 to Sept. 15) Toronto to where ever the spirit takes me, including Washington DC (Aug.30/31) and once again across the country. Spring Itinerary:1999 [March 2 to April 28] Chicago, Denver, Pueblo, Oklahoma City, Nashville, Little Rock, Tallahassee, Ste.Petersburg, Key West, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Richmond, Arlington,, Philadelphia, and places in between. Spring: 1998 [May 1 to May 29] East coast of Canada: Ottawa, Montreal, Fredericton, Halifax, and Toronto,places in between. Summer: 1998 [June 16 to August 3] Port Huron, Kalamazoo, Chicago, Rochelle, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Sault Ste Marie, North Bay , Sudbury, Orillia, Toronto, places in between. Fall: 1998 [October 15 to November 26] Detroit, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Rockford, Madison, Minneapolis, Fargo, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calagary, Edmonton, Jasper, Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, Portland, Klamath Falls, San Francisco, Reno, Cheyenne, Salt Lake City, places in between.
